I adore bees and created this drawing after a visit to a friend with the most amazing garden. He lived on the edge of Epping Forest with a group of friends, each of whom had a strip of the garden as a mini allotment. He kept bees back in France and we went for a gorgeous walk where he helped me learn to spot a honeybee - there were tons of them buzzing about the blackberry flowers.
The illustration shows a honeybee with pollen on its legs buzzing over a bee-friendly landscape.
The artwork was hand drawn on paper, scanned and then printed onto beautiful, thick Hahnemühle mould-made paper produced at an environmentally-friendly paper mill in Germany and printed by us here in the UK. The paper is made from 100% cotton and has a rich, slightly dappled texture. It is museum quality and printed with high quality dye inks, to prevent it fading.
The print comes signed and unmounted, safely backed on coloured recycled card, and wrapped in biodegradable cellophane to protect it. The print is pretty enough to be given as a gift as it is, or ready for you to find the perfect frame.
Postage included: First class Royal Mail postage within the UK and Royal Mail standard delivery for the rest of the world.
Sales of artwork do not transfer copyrights.
