What I thought being a mum would be like:
Me + a small human.
What being a mum is really like:
A totally rebuilt, reprogrammed version of me
+ a cosmic maelstrom of infinite wisdom experiencing everything for the first time...
This illustration tries to capture the mind-blowing experience of becoming a mum. It wasn't that I thought it would be easy, far from it. It's just that...I don't think I was expecting to be so unrecognisable from the person I was before. And I wouldn't change it for the world!
This listing is for a signed A5 print on lovely archival paper, taken from my original illustration. It is unmounted, and comes safely backed on recycled board and wrapped in biodegradable cellophane ready for you to find the perfect frame. It is unmounted, but pretty enough to be given as a gift as it is, and I do offer gift wrapping if you need it.
