This very special art print features a wreath of Australian plants and animals - a koala, a White's tree frog, a matchstick banksia plant, a Ulysses butterfly, an alpine bog skink, a wombat, a jewel bug and a Manuka bush with blue-banded bees.
In the centre are the words:
*We are all connected*
with a little globe underneath, oriented to show Australia.
I wanted to create a piece of artwork to fundraise to help tackle the the wild fires in Australia. And as I meditated on what to make, realised I also wanted to create something that reminds us every day that we are sharing this world with other animals, beautiful plants and all the life forms that live here too.
Australia is going to need lots of help to overcome the consequences of the fires, but we mustn't forget about them (or any other part of the world affected by climate change) when they stop hitting the headlines.
Long term strategies are needed.
The choices we make every day have the potential to affect all life positively or negatively. Let's work together to choose the positive as much as we can! Change is possible when we all join in and help each other.
I love the idea of this drawing hanging on your wall, to make you smile every day and empowering you.
And this art piece also has an extra couple of special features!
For every print sold, a donation will be made to the Fire Relief Fund for First Nations Communities:

***I will also send a matching print to the person of your choice***
It could be a friend or family member.
It could be to a school or college to display on the wall.
Or, for extra impact (and this is the exciting bit) it could be someone who really needs reminding of the consequences of their actions.
Someone who has the power to make some really amazing choices that could help to change the world, like your local MP, an Instagram Influencer, a celebrity, business person or multinational CEO.
Someone who YOU would really like to remember that we are all connected.
So, when you place your order, just let me know who you would like the extra print sent to, and I will get it to them along with a letter explaining the meaning of the print and the aim of this little project.
The artwork was painstakingly drawn digitally, and then printed onto beautiful, thick Hahnemühle mould-made paper produced at an environmentally-friendly paper mill in Germany and printed by us here in the UK. The paper is made from 100% cotton and has a rich, slightly dappled texture. It is museum quality and printed with high quality dye inks, to prevent it fading. You can choose from paper sizes A6 to A3.
The print comes signed and unmounted, safely backed on coloured recycled card, and wrapped in biodegradable cellophane to protect it. The print is pretty enough to be given as a gift as it is, or ready for you to find the perfect frame.
Postage included: First class Royal Mail postage within the UK and Royal Mail standard delivery for the rest of the world.
